Laura & Morgan Frost

The Belle Epoque was listed in Tatler and Brides Magazine's 'TOP 100 WEDDING VENUES 2014' and sits nestled among the narrow streets of Knutsford, Cheshire.

Among the ornate copper fireplaces and floor mosaics, our latest gig found us providing live music for the early part of Morgan and Laura's wedding day.

The wedding ceremony took place upstairs in a room that felt somewhere between Game Of Thrones and The Chronicles of Narnia. The beautiful ceiling decoration - consisting of reclaimed bracken and brass chandeliers - shed a not-too-bright glow over the guests as they wandered in, attracted by our acoustic rendition of Nat King Cole's 'L.O.V.E' (although Sophie still maintains this is a Joss Stone song).

As Laura entered we played 'Wedding Song' by Yeah Yeah Yeah's: a song neither of us were familiar with when Laura and Morgan requested it, but one which we soon discovered is not only beautiful and fragile, but also consists of just two (ish) chords... always a welcome discovery that speeds up the time it takes for us to learn it a wedding ceremony song ;)

After a little blast of our acoustic version of Beyonce's 'Crazy In Love' - which features Mat trying and occasionally succeeding to play guitar, drums and harmonica all at the same time - it was time for the bride and groom to walk together back down the aisle to one of their favourite songs which also happens to be one of ours, too!

... that's right: this blog post turns out, at the last moment, to be eloquent click-bait :)
